Cherry Blossoms

I finally get everything done and ready to leave! I'll be arriving in NY on 29th. Thanks for the suggestions from you all. Now I am getting excited about the trip!

One thing I'll miss is cherry blossoms. The tree is something special to Japanese people. It symbolizes vicissitudes of life and we have a kind of parties around trees while it is in full bloom. Some trees started blooming, but I will surely miss them in the most beautiful states. But at least, I enjoyed a little bit of blossoms today.

Dear Mio:

I hope you enjoy your trip to New York. Whatever you do, take time to relax and rest … you deserve it !!!
PD: Mio I apologize for my long absence from the blog but I've been extremely busy in the past two months.

Those are beautiful Mio. Seeing those cherry blossoms make me think of the Japanese Cherry Trees in Washington that Japan gave as a gift to President Taft (i think) and his wife. They always show pictures of the blossoms this spring and they look exactly like that. The gift that keeps on giving. Have fun in New York Honey! -David

I arrived at an airport in Tokyo and have 2 hours to kill.

Andrea,
That's totally fine. Many of you have been so busy, and so have I. (You can tell that just because I haven't updated this blog for so many days.) Now I have 2-week vacation for a trip. I might write about the trip during my stay in NY!

David,
The link worked! Thanks! I don't know who Japan give those cherri blossoms to but I do know they have the same kind of cherry trees there. I will probablly go to Washinton and I hope I can enjoy them.

Welcome to New York Mio. I hope you get the time to see the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in New York, they have many Cherry Blossom threes that are in full bloom right now. But most of all, I hope you run into Anderson, get a hug and a smile from him, and tell him to read "Addicted to Anderson," he'll be surprised (or maybe not) to know he has many fans in Japan too.

So far I am not planning on visiting the botanic Garden. Thanks for the tip! I'll check out some more info. I am totally free here and I guess I have plenty of time to see the city.

I hope to run into Anderson, but even if I should have a chance to catch a glimpse of him, I might not be able to speak to him. I might faint or get frozen!

Rather, I hope to run into you and your cute dogs! If you see me, please say "hi" to me! I'm not so sure we can recognize each other in this crowded city though.

I was very surprised to learn that you are in NY now! (Sorry, I haven't visited your blog since the middle of March...) I hope you have a great time in NY and will see Anderson in person!!

Mio,
Sorry about the comments on ACE. Sometimes they are directed at me, sometimes at Anderson, sometimes to Erica; but many more are very favorable. It is impossible to please everybody so I take the good with the bad. I am just so sorry that they used my blog to do it. You are a very nice girl and that's all that counts with me.

I hope you are having a very good time in New York. There are so many things to do here. Enjoy them all!

Mamie,
I was planning to surprize you even more but unfortunately, I let you know by posting a comment to your place.

Peter,
Thanks for telling me about Brooklyn Botanic Garden. I went to tourist information and learned a little about it. I'd love to go there when it finished raining.

You don't feel sorry about the comments on your blog. The more people have a chance to get to know me, the more people will dislike me. There should be a lot of people who don't like me and this blog, and only a few people openly tell that. As you said, it is impossible to please everybody, but people who don't like our places can just opt out of their favorites, which they have already done any way.

Hi Mio! Are you still in NY? I hope you get to see Anderson. I don't even know if he is in NY he's on vacation - he's off from AC360 this week so good luck looking for him LOL! Have a safe trip back and we hope to hear from you soon.

Judy,
Now I am back in Japan! I never ran into Anderson. My trip was completely Ander-free. No 360, no podcast, no live blog.

Pebbles,
I spent 10 days in NYC. I'll write about my trip later!
